FULL PRIMARY

This class is the full Ashtanga experience. In a steady and dynamic pace, postures are linked into a choreographed sequence that opens new dimensions in your mind-body-breath connection. Stamina, strength and flexibility weaves in to a full-bodied meditation, with Sanskrit counting and careful emphasis on Ashtanga’s original Vinyasa method. A steady solid practice of the first half of the Primary series is highly recommended required.

Mysore is the name of the city of India in which Ashtanga Yoga was born, and the Mysore style is the traditional way of learning this method.

The style approach is highly personalized and takes place in a group. You learn the method at your own pace while you are immersed in the energy of the group working with each student individually in the postures that require assistance.

JOURNALING

Weaving our way through a free stream of consciousness writing, we will transport thoughts to paper, as we let our pens be the vehicle that carry us to the gold mines, the meeting point of our Higher Source and inner Creator. Infused in Poetry, we use beauty as the beacon to alchemize what is hidden or dormant into powerful energy for golden transformation.
